The Dark Knight (Two-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy)

The Dark Knight (Two-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy)

As a big Tim Burton/Batman fan, I needed some convincing. This latest installment of Batman was well done but it did have some faults:

1) It was too long. This movie is 2 1/2 hours long and it didn't need to be. Some of the scenes tended to drag and the movie spent too much time on the Twoface storyline.

2) Twoface was weak. I always saw Twoface as a big villian and enemy of Batman. Twoface, in this movie, did nothing more than hold up a car with a gun: weak. While the vision of Harvey Dent changing to Twoface was well done, Twoface, in this movie, was a minor character just like Scarecrow was the previous movie.

3) Batman needed more Batman-looking toys. I am glad they got rid of that ridiculous-looking Batmobile. Unfortunately I had to witness an even more ridiculous-lokking motorcycle.

4) The Dark Knight. While I do enjoy "The Dark Knight" as a nickname for Batman. I don't see why Nolan couldn't have followed a 40-year naming tradition and kept "Batman" in the title. I'm no author but what's wrong with "Batman: The Dark Knight?"

While I did enjoy watching this movie (Heath Ledger was flawless), It is going to be a hard one for me to watch over and over (A thing that I can do with Tim Burton's Batmans despite that they are dated.) because it is soo long. While I did enjoy this movie, even if Nolan could have shaved off 1/2 hour and given me a better title, this could have been the best Batman movie ever.

Iron Man (Ultimate Two-Disc Edition + BD Live) [Blu-ray]

Iron Man (Ultimate Two-Disc Edition + BD Live) [Blu-ray]

the movie itself was awesome--good acting, nice storyline, super graphic scenes...and the graphics on bluray makes it SO MUCH BETTER! theres truly a difference with bluray VS reg. DVD's. just totally worth it!!

John Adams (HBO Miniseries)

John Adams (HBO Miniseries)

I never realized what an important figure John Adams was in the birth of our country until I viewed this DVD. This film definitely showed John's contributions to our American history. I recommend this to anyone, especially those who love historical personalities. The music score was excellent. Highly recommended. Prepare to be enlightened.

Lost - The Complete Fourth Season

Lost - The Complete Fourth Season

This is the season that has flash forward of what will be happening after getting of the island. I feel that it's a bit too revealing. I call those as spoilers. Many things expected such as who were the Oceanic 6. Who Sayid is after. Flash forward means that there's not much past to tell anymore. Overall, it's a very nice season because of the rescue + escape. Clare really had a small role in this season. Desmond stepped up to be one of the regulars. Locke continues his destiny thing. Ben is still using people and got nothing to lose at the end. Season 5 will probably being from what happened after moving the island and the Oceanic 6 unites in search for the island.

Sex and the City - The Movie (Special Edition)

Sex and the City - The Movie (Special Edition)

I am a huge fan of the SATC show so I was a bit worried when they announced they were making a movie but it ended up being great. I am starting to think that they can do no wrong, but who knows. The movie follows where the show left off to an extent except it is a few years later. I thought that it was well done and would recommend it to anyone who liked the show or to anyone who wants a refreshing chick movie.

Bones - Season 3

Bones - Season 3

Just as good as previous seasons - we will watch it over and over again, just like we do CSI, and SVU, etc. etc. etc.

The Office: Season Four

The Office: Season Four

Good season. I was a fan of the hour-long episodes because a lot of the latest season's episodes seem too short. Not a lot of episodes... probably because of the hour-longs and the writers strike.

I just wish there were more commentaries and special features. This DVD set seems to have even less than seasons 2 and 3.

Cause, I mean, without the commentaries and special features I might at well record the season myself and not bother buying the DVDs.

The L Word - The Complete Fifth Season

This season is so much better than season 4! I just wish the seasons would come out faster so I can get caught up quicker!
